The SECC Board is delighted to announce the appointment of Melissa Collins as Chief Executive Officer, who commenced at the organisation in March.

Melissa joins SECC with extensive leadership experience across both the not-for-profit and corporate sectors. In recent years, she has worked with organisations including Girl Guides Australia and Wayside Chapel, as well as serving in a number of CEO and Non-Executive Director roles across multiple not-for-profit organisations.

Melissa brings strong strategic and operational capability, with strengths in large-scale transformation, stakeholder engagement, and commercial decision-making. The Board looks forward to the leadership and vision she will bring to SECC in its next phase of growth and impact.

Fun fact: Melissa is an intrepid traveller whose happy place is in or under the water.

Finally, the Board would like to sincerely thank Caroline Petrovski for stepping into the Acting CEO role over the past ten months. We congratulate Caroline on her commitment, resilience, and organisational loyalty, and thank her for providing continuity and stability when it was most needed.
