SECC Outreach Service

Through SECC Outreach we provide important services that are not usually  readily available in our local community.

These include;

  • Free legal advice
  • Tax Help
  • Justice of the Peace
  • ​EAPA Energy Account Payment Assistance

South Eastern Community Connect partners with organisations which share similar values so we can make these services available to you in our local office in Eastlakes Shopping Centre.

Kingsford Legal Centre

The Kingsford Legal Centre provides free legal advice every Wednesday between 10am and 12pm at South Eastern Community Connect in Eastlakes Shopping Centre. Advice can be given is by appointment only. Please phone 02 9385 9566 for more information or to make an appointment. Please note that the Kingsford Legal Centre does not provide advice on:

  • Family law matters;
  • Commercial matters;
  • Immigration matters; or
  • Wills.

Tax Help

South Eastern Community Connect provides free tax help between July and October each year. Appointments are necessary. Please contact the centre for more information or to make an appointment.

Justice of the Peace

Justice of the Peace Services are provided at South Eastern Community Connect from Monday to Thursday between 10am and 3pm. Appointments are necessary for more than five pages. Please call us on 02 8338 8506 to make an appointment.

Form Support

We offer form support to those having trouble filling out official forms and applications. This service is available on Thursdays between 9:30am and 11:30am. By appointment only. Read more here.

Resume Support

SECC has a volunteer with years of Human Resources experience who can work with you to create a well-written resume. She can provide helpful hints for a smooth interview process. Call us on 02 8338 8506 to make an appointment.

EAPA Energy Account Payment Assistance

If you’re experiencing a short-term financial crisis or emergency, and are having difficulty in paying your electricity or gas bill, you can seek assistance with the Energy Accounts Payment Assistance (EAPA) Scheme. Please contact us on 02 8338 8506 for more information.
