Enjoy connecting and creating with our online, eight-week Eco Art journey.
The lockdown has been tough for so many people.
And at SECC, we want you to know we’re here for you.
As part of our online programming, we’re offering you a meaningful creative outlet which involves both art and nature.
Our programs are designed for people from all walks of life, whether you’re living alone or raising a family.
And one of our lockdown offerings includes the Eco Art Journey. Based within a framework of art therapy, the journey is all about discovering personal tools and growing awareness through creative art processes that are connected to natural settings.
This is an immersive and experiential program including:
- A chance to craft and complete art processes in your own time and in your own space (a natural setting of your choice).
- Basic art materials supplied.
- Content via videos and text to guide and support you is delivered online. Each week a video will be released to watch in your own time, talking about the theme and instructions on the art process. PLEASE NOTE: You will need a Facebook account to access the online content shared in a private closed group.
- Weekly group video call for 30mins for a live creative practice, share and connect with the group.
- Share your experience and receive support either online via the Facebook group or you can contact the facilitator via email and phone for extra support.
WHEN: Starting on Monday 26th July, we will deliver a weekly program to help you connect and create – no matter your skill level. There will also be a weekly group call on Thursday at 5pm (subject to change)
Payment option: The low cost of $10 includes a pack of basic art materials which you can pick up safely from our Mascot Hub.
Please pay and register now on the SECC website, following the steps below.
1) Press the blue LOGIN button.
2) Scroll to the blue box and press REGISTER AN ACCOUNT.
3) Create your own username, and include your email address and the password you will use.
4) Head back to the website and press the blue TAKE THIS COURSE button. This will direct you to our PayPal portal where you can safely pay the $10. Then we will be in touch with further instructions.
