Sarah Neville has filled a range of roles at SECC over the years, from OOSH worker to family worker – and more.

Now she’s returned after 18 months of maternity leave to the role of Family Support Worker at The Mascot Hub.

Sarah is a much-loved member of the team, building relationships in before- and after-school care as well as our weekly playgroups over the years.

She particularly loved the Wednesday group which ran in Kensington back in the day.

“We built really strong relationships there,” she says.

”It was so comfortable – it was like coming home to Mum and Dad’s house.

“A few of the grandparents from that group messaged me when my daughter was born, which was lovely.”

Sarah says things have changed since she left to go on maternity leave.

“It’s very different – a lot of our services have gone online since the pandemic hit.

“But it’s good that some of them have been able to return to face-to-face.”

Sarah is pleased to be back and working with SECC again.

“It’s great to be back with my SECC family, supporting the community,” she says.
