Not all playtime is equal.

Peekaboo isn’t just a game. It teaches your baby important skills. It helps them learn to trust the people in their orbit.

That’s the idea behind PlayPower, a free session for parents and children aged 0 to 3, running Thursday 23 July, 9:30–11:30am at the Tote Building in Zetland.

Expert facilitators Genie Kang and Elli Katz will run the session.

You’ll leave knowing what to set up at home, and none of it needs buying. Bath time, block towers, the walk to the shops: everyday moments become the offers that support your child’s development.
SECC staff and volunteers will be around the whole time, so if your child needs extra support to join in, someone’s there to help.

Who it’s for: parents and carers in the City of Sydney, Bayside or Randwick council areas, with children 0 to 3. Cost: free.

Bookings: essential, places are limited.
