New chapters can be difficult, can’t they?

Life is full of transitions, from the first time you attend pre-school through to nailing your first job, and taking on roles such as parent, spouse and carer as you age.

Crossing over into the role of ‘senior’ is another milestone which some greet with trepidation – and others, hope and joy.

Like any new chapter in your life, preparation can go a long way.

However, despite the obvious benefits, only 44% of Australians over age 40 feel prepared for retirement, according to the 2016 Investment Trends Report.

Plan for your future

At South Eastern Community Connect, we believe it makes sense to plan ahead. We want your senior years to be as stress-free as possible.

That’s why we’re partnering with Kingsford Legal Centre to provide seniors with a free information session on planning their future.

What to expect

At our community event, a Kingsford Legal Centre (KLC) solicitor will talk about wills, powers of attorney and guardianship.

And a South Eastern Community Connect representative will speak about My Aged Care and Home Care Packages.

It will be an enjoyable and informative morning which gives you or your loved one the tools to face the future.
