Mascot resident Nichola Wright is one of the newest staff members at SECC.

She has completed studies in Community and Children’s Services, and brings with her a wealth of experience.

The mum-of-one loves working with families and community members.

Her last job was supporting a team at a drug and alcohol primary health care service in Kings Cross. She worked with at-risk community members and enjoyed the interaction she had with them.

“Family and community work is where my passion lies,” Nichola says.

“I love the diversity of it – the casework; the outreach we do into schools and social housing; and the varied programs we run. No two days are the same.”

Nichola has enjoyed being part of the delivery of food boxes in the area during COVID-19.

“It’s great a program like this can make someone’s day and I enjoy seeing the smile the food boxes bring to the recipients.”

Nichola interacts with community members from all walks of life. She liaises with other local services to achieve successful outcomes for community members.

SECC is lucky to have someone with Nichola’s vast skill-set on board.

Welcome, Nichola!
