It’s always exciting to see the name of your charity in print. Here, we take a moment to look back at some of the media outlets who have help us spread the word about SECC in the last year.

Back in November 2019, we were thrilled to see The SECC Community Picnic on the front page of The Southern Courier.

This picture and editorial piece helped attract attention to our community event, which brought in over 1,000 locals at Eastlakes Reserve.

On the eve of lockdown (and before the newspaper stopped printing), the Courier also featured our very own Indian Fusion dance teacher in a feature. Soundarya continues to host classes online, several months later.

More recently, Darling Point Edge featured two articles – one on The Cottage Seniors Centre, and one on our Flexible Respite Care service. News is spreading fast about what we do in Rushcutters Bay and south-east Sydney.

Just this week, our food relief program was also on the front page of Clovelly News, a publication issued by Clovelly Community Bank Branch on behalf of Bendigo Bank. What a great tribute to the partnership we have with the bank and other local organisations.
