South Eastern Community Connect (SECC) is proud to announce the expansion of our service delivery through the development of an Adolescent Program to support young people within South Eastern Sydney.

South Eastern Community Connect Deputy CEO, Ashleigh Daines identified that the opportunity for service expansion means that for the first time in 40 years SECC has the capacity to offer a continuity of support and community services for individuals and families within the local area across the whole life span.

“Over the past 40 years SECC has grown and evolved in response to our community’s needs. We are thrilled to now be able to provide responsive and consistent support to young people in the area and meet the demands for support that our community has been asking for. This is a fantastic opportunity for SECC to be able to engage with the whole of community and support everyone within a household regardless of age.”

SECC’s Adolescent Program will provide a range of case management support as well as therapeutic and recreation activities and engagement strategies to support the emotional and physical wellbeing of young people aged 12 – 18years in the local community. It’s our aim to ensure that we are supporting young people and their families with their immediate needs whilst also helping them develop and achieve longer-term goals.
