Here at South Eastern Community Connect we are reviewing our procedures in line with current NSW restrictions.

Greater Sydney, the Blue Mountains, Central Coast and Wollongong will enter a COVID-19 lockdown tonight for two weeks, in response to a growing virus outbreak.

Four local government areas (LGAs) in Sydney had already been subjected to “stay at home orders”, but as the Delta COVID-19 variant spreads, authorities have imposed social distancing restrictions on regional areas as well to help stop the virus seeding.

In response to the restrictions, all SECC offices will be closed for two weeks from Monday 28th June.

Those receiving aged care services were contacted by staff last week, and alternative arrangements have been made to ensure their needs are being met.

At present we are reviewing how we can safely operate The People’s Pantry (our food relief program), and will provide an update on Monday.

Vacation Care is still going ahead at our Bankstown Public School and Bankstown Infant School sites.

For anyone wishing to speak to a staff member regarding a particular program, please call staff on their mobile phones or on the Eastlakes and Mascot office landlines.
We hope all remain safe & well during this period & remember we are only a call away.
