SECC’s Support at Home program helps older people stay independent, connected and comfortable in their own homes for longer. As a trusted, local not-for-profit organisation, we deliver personalised support that puts you at the centre of your care.

What is Support at Home? 

Support at Home is the Australian Government’s aged care program designed to support older people to live at home more actively, safely, and independently. This program replaced the Home Care Packages (HCP) Program from 1 November 2025.

SECC provides Support at Home services for: 

  • People aged 65 years and over 
  • People aged 50 years and over for First Nations peoples 

How Support at Home works 

Support at Home focuses on maintaining independence, wellbeing and quality of life through providing tailored, subsidise in-home care for older people.

Through Support at Home, SECC can assist with a wide range of services, including:

How to get started

  1. Please contact My Aged Care on 1800 200 422 for an assessment. 
  2. Once approved, you will receive a letter with special code outlining details of your funding allocation.  
  3. Call SECC on (02) 8338 8506 with your code to start your care journey. 

While waiting for approval, you may call our aged care team to explore options and access services quicker.
