Justices of the Peace (JPs) are volunteers appointed by the Governor of New South Wales.

The primary roles of a JP are to witness a person making a statutory declaration or affidavit, and to certify copies of original documents.

JPs come from all sections of the community and are available across NSW.

We offer JP services by appointment only on:

• Tuesdays and Wednesdays between 11am and 12pm at the SECC Head Office – 21 Vernon Ave, Eastlakes.

February 2026: JP services at The Hub will only be available on Fridays in February. From March 16, 2026, the normal schedule of Mondays and Fridays will resume.
