Parenting Programs & Information Sessions
Parenting is a joy, but it can be really tough as well.
Our team is here to help you with a range of programs as well as hands-on tips and guidance for the journey.
Check out what we have planned for 2019 and register your interest here.
Every month we run free information sessions on a wide range of topics for parents of young children.
Upcoming classes include CPR & First Aid for Babies (Thursday 9th May) and Early Communication in Children (Tuesday 18th June).
Triple P (Positive Parenting Program)
The Triple P program has been shown to reduce problem behaviour in children aged 2 to 12 years, as well as assisting with any emotional problems they might be facing.
The evidence also shows the training helps parents feel more confident, less stressed, less angry, and less depressed.
We run regular Triple P seminars free of charge, several times a year.

Dads and Bubs Bonding Course
We also periodically run a three-week group workshop for new dads who are learning to juggle the parenting role.
Fathers of babies up to 12 months of age now have the opportunity to chat about themselves and their babies and learn some practical information about child development in a relaxed environment.
Mums are also welcome in the third week with the baby massage therapist.
The Dads and Bubs Bonding Course is open to fathers, grandfathers and male carers, and their babies.
Play Power: Making the Most of Everyday Moments
This popular workshop provides parents of children between 0-3 with early childhood and brain development information and ideas for play activities, routine and structure using everyday household items.
Playpower for Dads will be held on the following Saturdays: 27th April, and 18th May.
Wise Choice Kids Program
In this specialised program, you’ll learn how to help your child develop empathy, resilience and self-control through the day-to-day things they experience. Running over four weeks, the program will cover ways to help your child care for others, create beauty in the world, think critically, solve problems, and much more.
