Therapeutic and Recreational Activities

South Eastern Community Connect’s adolescent therapeutic and recreational activities are held throughout the week after school, during school terms and on weekends.

All activities are purpose-driven and designed to address underlying issues, build connections with the community and within families, and create a safe, comfortable environment which allows young people to have fun, make friends, and learn new skills.

Through a range of programs and activities, young people quickly develop their self-esteem and sense of independence, and are better placed to overcome hardships.

Term four 2018 activities include:


Cooking Skills Classes

 – Come along and learn some healthy cooking skills, eat yummy food and have fun getting to know other like-minded young people.

Classes are held on Mondays between 3.30pm and 5.30pm at the SECC office, Shop 84 Eastlakes Shopping Centre, Eastlakes. Bookings are essential, contact Jazzie or Tonny on (02) 8338 8506 for more information.

Tutoring Support

Do you need a helping hand with some of your school work?

The Tutoring Support program aims to match young people with a skilled tutor who can provide one-on-one support to help you achieve your education goals. For more information, contact Tonny on (02) 8338 8506.

Art and Craft Groups

Come along and learn a different art and craft activity each week.

Classes are held on Wednesdays between 3.30pm and 5:30pm at the SECC Office, Shop 84 Eastlakes Shopping Centre, Eastlakes. Bookings are Essential, contact Jazzie on (02) 8338 8506 for more information.

Movie Magic 

Bring your phone along and learn how to make short films and learn all the tricks of the trade from our guest speakers. Classes are held on Thursdays between 3.30pm and 5.30pm at the SECC office, Shop 84 Eastlakes Shopping Centre, Eastlakes. Bookings are essential. Park Fitness

We run a free 10-week fitness program each term at Eastlakes Reserve.

Weekly BBQ

Join us at Eastlakes Reserve every Friday between 3.30pm and 5.30pm for a BBQ.

Kick a soccer ball around, chat to our staff, or shoot some hoops.
