“Thank you for the pre-packed meals and food box during COVID-19. I’m feeling overwhelmed, as no one has ever done this before.”

South Eastern Community Connect acknowledges the Gadigal and Bidjigal people as the traditional custodians of the land and water on which we rely. We celebrate First Nations Peoples’ continuing cultural and spiritual connections to our Nation and recognise the significance of First Nations voices and cultures.

We acknowledge the ongoing leadership role of the Indigenous community and that the First Nations People are best placed to determine a culturally appropriate path for support within our communities.

We are committed to working with and supporting First Nations People and strive to support and acknowledge their knowledge and traditions.  We are focused on implementing best practice policies and procedures which are ingrained in our organisational culture. We aim to develop a collaborative planning and working model to meet the needs of Indigenous and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
